Make the support bay spacing three inches wider, or loose weight.

 

Buy channel nuts without springs.  They drop into the channel, slide nicely when loose, and cost less. And you don't have to pull the springs off before using them.

 

Use #8 wire into the inverters instead of #6. I'll live with the extra 16 watts copper loss.

But if using Sunny Boy inverters, #6 wire is easily installed from the PV panels to the DC disconnect.

 

Consider using polar trackers, just for the fun of it.
